Sam KassSam Kass joined the White House kitchen staff in 2009 and became a Senior Policy Advisor for Healthy Food Initiatives in 2010. In this role, Mr. Kass advises the Let’s Move! initiative on food policy issues and overall program strategy. With a long interest in sustainable and nutritious ingredients, he helped First Lady Michelle Obama create the first major vegetable garden at the White House since the 1890s.

Nedra WeinreichNedra Weinreich is a social marketing consultant working with nonprofits and government agencies to affect positive health and social change. Ms. Weinreich specializes in developing social media strategies that build a movement around a cause and engaging people through traditional and digital media.

 

Jeanne HolmJeanne Holm is the evangelist for Data.Gov, a leading collaboration with educators, developers and international and state governments. She was the architect and implementer for the award-winning NASA public (www.nasa.gov) and internal portals and supports several Department of Defense organizations in utilizing social media, creating collaborative structures and identifying emergent technologies.

 

Mary Lou FultonMary Lou Fulton, keynote moderator, is a program manager at The California Endowment, where she oversees communications and media grant-making. Ms. Fulton has 20 years of experience as a leader in the media and publishing industries.
